This site
The site is static pages. It counts visits with Open Analytics, a cookieless analytics service: it records that a page was viewed, from which country and on what kind of device, and whether the Buy button was clicked. It sets no cookies, keeps no identifier that follows you to other sites, and stores no personal data. There are no accounts and no newsletter.
Buying
Checkout is handled by Polar (polar.sh). Polar takes your payment, sends your receipt, and invites you to the private GitHub repository. Polar's own privacy policy applies to what you give it during checkout. We receive your email address and the record of your purchase, and we use them for three things: to give you access to the repository, to answer your support questions, and to tell you about updates to ShipCat. We do not sell or share them.
Writing to us
When you write to support@shipcat.app, we keep the correspondence so that we can answer you and remember what was discussed. Ask, and we delete it.
