ShipCat License

This is the same text as LICENSE.md in the repository you receive.

This is a commercial license, not an open-source one. By using ShipCat you accept it.

"ShipCat" means the contents of this repository: the source code, scripts, site, documentation and agent instructions. "You" means the person or the single company that bought it. "Your apps" means the applications and websites you build with it.

What you may do

Build any number of apps with ShipCat, for yourself or for clients, and sell or give them away.
Change ShipCat in any way to build those apps.
Let people who work for you on those apps (employees, contractors, AI coding agents) use your copy for that work.
Keep your copy in private repositories and on your own machines.

Your apps are yours. Voprex Labs claims no rights in them and takes no share of what they earn.

What you may not do

Redistribute, resell, sublicense, lend or publish ShipCat or a substantial part of its source, with or without changes. This includes putting it in a public repository.
Offer it, or something derived from it, as a boilerplate, template, starter kit, course material or any other product that competes with ShipCat.
Share your access with anyone who is not working on your apps for you, or buy once for several companies.
Remove this license from your copy.

Distributing your compiled apps and deploying your websites is of course allowed: that is what ShipCat is for. When a client receives the source of an app you built for them, the client needs their own ShipCat license.

Third-party software

ShipCat uses Sparkle, which is distributed under its own license (MIT). That license, not this one, governs Sparkle.

No warranty

ShipCat is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. You are responsible for the apps you ship: their behaviour, their legal texts, their compliance with Apple's rules and with the law where you sell.

Limit of liability

To the extent the law allows, Voprex Labs is not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for lost profits or data, arising from the use of ShipCat. Its total liability is limited to the amount you paid for it.

Ending

This license ends automatically if you break it. When it ends you must stop building new apps and new versions with ShipCat. The apps you shipped before that stay with their users and remain yours.
